Etchings Again~~

So my baby girl turned 18 this July. Wow. Where does the time go? Seems like she was just a toddler climbing up on things and learning to ride her bike. Bittersweet for sure. I am super proud of her though., She is a neat girl with a bright future and a personality that is sure to warm the world.

Her daddy calls her Princess, and Punkin. So for her big day I chose the Princess Motif. I think the detail in the crown image from this set so stunning! I added a tiny pink rhinestone to the crowns to give a little pop and the rest is plain to see! The new SS called Perfect Punches is a must have! I am in love with punches, and I adore sets that are designed to be used with them! I hope you do too!

On a happy note, I just sold 52 of my cards to the dealership where I work and they are selling them in the customer service area! Girls need something to look at too while they have an oil change! I am thrilled and thankful for the opportunity! Now, I just hope they sell........

Attemped Etchings~~

I cannot believe where the time goes! Man! Over a month since I blogged. Darn job, cuts into my stamping time. But I do like my job, and the paycheck is also nice. What's a girl to do?

I have been stamping, some. Just not a lot of time to post. I think I am going to follow the example of a fellow blogger and friend, Gretchen, and plan to post Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Less pressure. Maybe I will actually post more!

This card uses some neato new SU stuff! Artistic Etchings, Marina Mist, Crumb Cake, Early Espresso and Sahara Sand colors! I softened the colors for the background pieces by stamping off onto scratch paper first. Except the Early Espresso. I liked that bod and dark! Like my coffee! I also used the new Newsprint DSP with the music notes there~~~

I hope your having a good time wrapping up summer! Plan a BBQ and end with a bang! Here in AZ the kids go back to school in two weeks. Not everywhere I know, but here e are buying pencils and notebooks already! Don't forget to take the time to encourage someone with a note or a card. Remember, a handmade card is a hug with a fold in the middle! (thanks Kathy!)

Toodles~~~
